One of the obstacles in the way of loving your neighbor as yourself is your own prejudices.
To deny we have a problem is probably more arrogant than most of us can afford. Prejudices run deep in our culture and therefore affect us more than we would like to admit.
Every person can embrace the neighbor different from them by taking these steps:
- Recognize your prejudices
- Seek to understand those different from you
- Be an advocate for reconciliation
