Desire determines direction. Direction determines destination. And the driving force between each is a decision. And decisions reveal devotion.
Every decision we make reveals whether or not we are truly devoted to God, and His Word is our guide to help us decide.
The destination of the disciple’s mind is Jesus.
John 10:4-5
Daniel 1

Determine ahead of time to be devoted to God
“But show me a person’s habits, and I will show you what they are truly most passionate about, most dedicated to, most willing to suffer for, and most in love with.” John Mark Comer
The enemies of excellent decisions
- Enemy #1 of Excellent Decisions: We are overwhelmed.
- Enemy #2 of Excellent Decisions: We are afraid.
When we employ the wisdom of pre-deciding how we will be devoted to Jesus as His disciples, it reduces the number of decisions to make and it reduces the fear of deciding wrong.
Colossians 2:8
If Satan can get you to believe a lie, your life will be affected as if that lie were true.
- What is a sin where I get stuck?
- What is a trigger to turn to God?
- What is a passage to pull me out?
