There are a number of reasons we may not be hearing from God, but the main reason is that we allow the noise of this world to deafen us to the voice of God.

- The Bible is useful.
- Showing us the truth
- Exposing our rebellion
- Training us to live in God’s way

- God’s word equips us for our future.

- Read a little each day. Don’t wait to feel inspired—start small and be consistent.
- Ask God to speak before you read. He wants to be heard.
- Journal what you sense. God honors your pursuit.
- Join a group. Sometimes we hear God clearer in community.
