A child is greatly impacted by the habits, customs, traditions they encounter every day and the ones they participate in once a year.
We need everyday traditions as well as seasonal traditions.
The best way to disciple people is through the everyday rhythms of life.
So what is the value of traditions?
1. TRADITIONS CREATE MOMENTS TO KNOW AND REMEMBER GOD
Our Customs and Traditions surrounding Christmas should highlight the plan of God to enter our world humbly as a baby so that by saving us we could be reborn as his children.
2. TRADITIONS REVEAL WHO AND WHAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US
The benefits of tradition are lost when we allow our activities to just become rituals.
