Colossians 1:12-14
God has qualified you for heaven.
1 Peter 1:3-5
- Our inheritance in Christ is imperishable.
- Our inheritance in Christ is unspoiled.
- Our inheritance in Christ is unfading.
- Our inheritance in Christ is reserved for us in heaven.
Colossians 1:13-14
God has rescued you from darkness.
God has transferred you from one kingdom to another.
God has redeemed and forgiven you through Christ.
Two commands as it relates to forgiveness:
- Forgive as the Lord has forgiven you.
- Forgive so the Lord will continue to forgive you.
A redeemed life is a life where forgiveness is regifted.
