Does Paul make good sense? (Logos)
Does he deliver it in a compelling fashion? (Pathos)
Does his life show that he believes it through his character, integrity? (Ethos)
Colossians 1:24-2:5
His labor and sufferings are a continuation of the sufferings Christ Jesus suffered to save us.
He is so convinced of what he’s teaching that he’ll gladly give his life so that more people might come to see that what he’s saying about Jesus is true.
He isn’t in this for himself, so you can at least trust that he’s sincere.
