Ecclesiastes 9
Two things are in your future, both of which frustrated Solomon:
- Both the righteous and wicked are subjected to the unexplainable, unpredictable distribution of adversity and prosperity during life
- Both the righteous and the wicked share the same destiny after life – They all die.
Contentment, comfort and companionship help you get through the seasons of life.
The Seasons of life can be unpredictable, inescapable and abrupt.
My question for you: How do you deal with the reality that your terminal?
Solomon’s experience with life and death helps me in two ways:
- Solomon’s frustrations help me to stay balanced.
- Solomon’s motivations help me to make the most of every day and to live with a sense of purposefulness.
